2003 Box Hill Chess Club Rainbow Championships
Round robin tournaments between six approximately equal rated players with
a rest night for postponed games. The winner in each group will be the
champion named after one of the colours of the rainbow. Lower rated players
will compete in a swiss.
This is an excellent tournament for players who cannot play on Friday nights,
who prefer a round robin format to a large swiss or for those members who simply
have the need for more chess.
- Visitors welcome.
- Round robin of six players in mutiple groups and ratings based swiss.
- Clocks start 7:30pm.
- Rate of play: 60 minutes plus 30 seconds per move from move one.
- ACF rated.
- Entry fee $15.
- Visitors fee $15 for non BHCC or WJC members.
- 5 rounds.
