The Waverley competition was held at Wheelers Hill Primary School on
Wednesday 22nd August. Thirteen teams from five schools played in a swiss
with pairings barred between team members. I think all the organisers
found this to be a taxing event but the players appeared to enjoy themselves.
I wish to thank the teachers, parents and volunteers that attended as their
assistance was much appreciated. Thanks also go to Wheelers Hill Primary
School for provision of the facilities and other assistance.
The competition was pursued in a sportsmanlike manner and two schools kindly
lent a player to another team when two participants were forced to withdraw.
As a result, Sean W and Keith W appear twice in the cross table below.
I want to congratulate all players on their efforts.
